Cleveland Chapter H.O.G.

Established in 1986, an informal meeting between George Lansky of South East Harley-Davidson®, Lani Daniels, and Lou Zele, they created an agreement that an attempt would be made to start a new Harley-Davidson® Owners Group Chapter (H.O.G.®) sponsored by South East Harley-Davidson®.

At the inaugural meeting were, officers Lani Daniels, and Lou Zele invited road captains, George Lansky, and Paul Meyers Sr. (owner of South East Harley-Davidson®). During which all agreed that the primary object of the club should be to create riding opportunities and social events for and with other Harley-Davidson® owners around the Cleveland and Northeast Ohio area.

Throughout the years more committees were formed, membership drives being held, and even a small newsletter called the HOGPEN was created to keep H.O.G.® chapter members informed of all of Cleveland H.O.G.® chapter events and rides. During the first few years, the Cleveland H.O.G.® chapter had approximately 79 members. Since then it’s grown to include up to 250 members, all sharing a love of Cleveland, Northeast Ohio, and Harley-Davidson® Motorcycles.

We've also become an organization that likes to volunteer with local charities in and around Cleveland and Northeast Ohio. The Cleveland H.O.G.® chapter in conjunction with South East Harley-Davidson® has helped raise over $300,000+ for organizations such as; Cops and Kids, Toys For Tots, Ghost Riders, and NEOPAT.

Just like Harley-Davidson® we’re proud of our heritage and look forward to our future as the Cleveland H.O.G.® chapter. We’re proud to be part of the Harley-Davidson® family and the South East Harley-Davidson® family.
